Nurse-Decision Support Coach


Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide telephonic and email communication with clients including web navigation assistance, evaluation of current health information needs, and referral to other resources
  • Manage assigned client workload, including ongoing client follow-up and customization of report materials
  • Participate in maintaining up to date library of hardcopy and electronic educational materials, including obtaining appropriate copyright permissions for all externally obtained content
  • Maintain knowledge of all core and custom educational materials, CMR web tools, and other corporate employers benefit programs, in order to provide informational and navigational support to assigned clients
  • Communicate with client’s assigned research teams, regarding changes in client’s information needs, and client feedback regarding educational materials received
  • Coordinate development of custom reports with assigned team physicians
  • Conduct feedback surveys with clients to evaluate satisfaction, utilization of services provided, and changes in treatment or lifestyle
  • Assist with developing and maintaining policies and procedures related to client interactions and support
  • Participate in physician conference calls with clients, including routine evening calls, as required
  • Maintain timely accurate entry of all contents and client interactions in database
  • Comply with all government mandated HIPAA Privacy Standards

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • College degree in a medical/health field (Nursing, Health Education, Public Health), Bachelor’s Degree preferred or Registered Nurse with an Associate degree and equivalent experience
  • Recent experience in a medical or health education environment doing direct adult patient education, disease management or coaching
  • Experience communicating medical information to a non-medical audience
  • Dedicated to providing high quality, professional, customer service
  • Proficient computer and internet navigation skills
  • Experience working with a variety of digital/internet media and interest in exploring new information technology
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Enthusiastic, must enjoy working independently and in a team environment
